As primeiras 54 unidades foram entregues em&nbsp;Bras\u00edlia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>E a Volkswagen Caminh\u00f5es e \u00d4nibus \u00e9 quem venceu o certame. A montadora ir\u00e1 disponibilizar seu modelo Volksbus 8.160 ODR, o mesmo do programa federal Caminho da Escola. O modelo conta com carro\u00e7aria produzida pela&nbsp;marca ga\u00facha Neobus, oferece&nbsp;&nbsp; acessibilidade via DPM (Dispositivo de Poltrona M\u00f3vel) e tem capacidade para transportar 25 pessoas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.revistaautobus.com.br\/uploads\/images\/2018\/11\/166-1541770161.jpg\" alt=\"Volksbus no transporte social\" title=\"Volksbus no transporte social\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>O ve\u00edculo tem suspens\u00e3o elevada e refor\u00e7ada, pneus de uso misto, eixo&nbsp;dianteiro com viga forjada, balan\u00e7o dianteiro mais curto, bloqueio no diferencial traseiro, \u00e2ngulos de ataque e sa\u00edda maiores, poltronas estofadas e de f\u00e1cil&nbsp;limpeza, mecanismos anti-esmagamento na porta e ainda dispositivo de&nbsp;poltrona m\u00f3vel (DPM), da marca Elevitt\u00e1, que garante a acessibilidade para os alunos com mobilidade reduzida. \u201cDesenvolver e fornecer ve\u00edculos que&nbsp;permitem o acesso da popula\u00e7\u00e3o a seus direitos e a uma vida mais digna \u00e9 gratificante. E este ano \u00e9 bastante especial, pois conquistamos duas licita\u00e7\u00f5es neste sentido, esta do MDS, que \u00e9 in\u00e9dita, e a do programa Caminho da Escola\u201d, comentou Roberto Cortes, presidente e CEO da VW Caminh\u00f5es e \u00d4nibus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A montadora j\u00e1 forneceu mais de 16 mil chassis que transportam mais de 3,5 milh\u00f5es de crian\u00e7as nos lugares mais remotos do Brasil, atendendo a cerca de 5 mil munic\u00edpios.
