Desde seu lan\u00e7amento, em 2017, mais de 1.000 unidades foram entregues a clientes norte-americanos.<\/p>\n<p>Essa segunda gera\u00e7\u00e3o do Jouley vem com o compacto 14Xe eAxle da Accelera, eixo el\u00e9trico da marca Cummins Inc., integrado ao motor, transmiss\u00e3o de duas velocidades, freios a disco e engrenagem de tra\u00e7\u00e3o traseira em um pacote montado no eixo traseiro. Sua configura\u00e7\u00e3o, juntamente com o inversor ELFA da Accelera, fornece energia diretamente para as rodas, melhorando a acelera\u00e7\u00e3o e o torque para uma condu\u00e7\u00e3o mais suave. De acordo com a Thomas Buses, o design do eAxle simplifica a manuten\u00e7\u00e3o, reduzindo o n\u00famero de pe\u00e7as m\u00f3veis e centralizando os principais componentes, o que leva a menores custos de servi\u00e7o e maior tempo de atividade para os distritos escolares.<\/p>\n<p>Esse modelo tem uma nova dist\u00e2ncia de entre eixos, com 5,56 metros, na configura\u00e7\u00e3o capaz de acomodar 60 passageiros. Seu sistema de bateria Proterra, com capacidade de 246 kWh permite a pot\u00eancia de 295 cv.
