O modelo O 500 RS 1936 chega, agora, \u00e0 regi\u00e3o da ASEAN (Associa\u00e7\u00e3o de Na\u00e7\u00f5es do Sudeste Asi\u00e1tico). Uma unidade, em regime CKD (completamente desmontado), foi exportada para a empresa THACO, representante dos produtos da marca no Vietn\u00e3, que montou o chassi e a carro\u00e7aria, exportando o \u00f4nibus integral para demonstra\u00e7\u00e3o e venda pelo concession\u00e1rio da marca na Tail\u00e2ndia.<\/p>\n<p>Outra unidade (em CKD) do chassi O 500 foi exportada para Taiwan, devendo ser entregue no pr\u00f3ximo m\u00eas de agosto, ampliando assim a presen\u00e7a da marca no mercado asi\u00e1tico. A unidade O 500 RS 1936 enviado \u00e0 THACO \u00e9 equipado com o motor Mercedes-Benz OM 460 LA (Euro V, compat\u00edvel com as normas da Tail\u00e2ndia) de 360 cv de pot\u00eancia a 1.800 rpm, com torque de 1.850 Nm a 1.100 rpm. Ele tem a transmiss\u00e3o automatizada ZF Traxon 12TX BO de 12 marchas, com <em>overdrive<\/em> e retarder integrado. \u201cO Brasil \u00e9 o centro mundial de compet\u00eancia da Daimler Buses para o desenvolvimento de chassis de \u00f4nibus e, tamb\u00e9m, um polo muito importante de produ\u00e7\u00e3o para atendimento a cerca de 50 pa\u00edses de v\u00e1rios continentes.
