Tal estrat\u00e9gia comercial segue a apresenta\u00e7\u00e3o do novo sistema de transmiss\u00e3o el\u00e9trica Allison da S\u00e9rie ABE para aplica\u00e7\u00f5es em \u00f4nibus de piso baixo, que far\u00e1 sua estreia na Am\u00e9rica do Norte nos modelos interurbanos de tr\u00eas eixos, com a vers\u00e3o de dois pisos Enviro500, encomendados pela Foothill Transit. Os ve\u00edculos, que t\u00eam dimens\u00f5es semelhantes \u00e0s de um modelo convencional com um piso, podem transportar at\u00e9 86 passageiros sentados e proporcionar dirigibilidade superior, traslado silencioso e suave, e emiss\u00e3o zero de poluentes. &#8220;A Allison tem uma longa hist\u00f3ria no segmento de \u00f4nibus urbanos utilizando nosso sistema h\u00edbrido el\u00e9trico.
