Segundo a Volkswagen Caminh\u00f5es e \u00d4nibus, a iniciativa refor\u00e7a o compromisso de Salvador em buscar solu\u00e7\u00f5es sustent\u00e1veis para o transporte p\u00fablico e promover tecnologia limpa no deslocamento di\u00e1rio de seus passageiros.<\/p>\n<p>Em linhas gerais, o respectivo modelo tem capacidade total de 22 toneladas e autonomia de at\u00e9 250 quil\u00f4metros, sendo projetado para operar com recarga noturna, estrat\u00e9gia que maximiza a produtividade e reduz o tempo de inatividade da frota, de acordo com informa\u00e7\u00f5es da fabricante. Al\u00e9m disso, a tecnologia embarcada inclui sistema de frenagem regenerativa, que contribui para ampliar a autonomia e minimizar o desgaste dos freios, al\u00e9m do Eco Drive Mode, que ajusta automaticamente o consumo de energia conforme as condi\u00e7\u00f5es de uso.<\/p>\n<p>Jorge Carrer, diretor de \u00d4nibus da Volkswagen Caminh\u00f5es e \u00d4nibus, disse que os testes em Salvador representam mais um passo no processo de valida\u00e7\u00e3o do eVolksbus em diferentes realidades urbanas do pa\u00eds. \u201cAl\u00e9m de S\u00e3o Paulo, em breve estaremos presentes em outras capitais estrat\u00e9gicas.
