A Egged Bus Systems (EBS), operadora do transporte coletivo local, receber\u00e1 83 unidades do modelo Citaro NGT, com 12 metros de comprimento, e 10 unidades da vers\u00e3o articulada, com 18 metros de comprimento. Visando a sustentabilidade ambiental da regi\u00e3o, todos os \u00f4nibus ser\u00e3o equipados com motoriza\u00e7\u00e3o a g\u00e1s natural (compat\u00edvel com o biometano). O propulsor \u00e9 o M 936 G, de 222 kW (302 hp) de pot\u00eancia, 7,7 litros e torque m\u00e1ximo de 1200 Nm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Os ve\u00edculos tamb\u00e9m ter\u00e3o o m\u00f3dulo h\u00edbrido, conceito que combina junto ao motor tradicional a tra\u00e7\u00e3o el\u00e9trica (14 kW de pot\u00eancia e torque de 220 Nm), ideal para suas partidas, o que reduz o consumo de combust\u00edvel na faixa de 8,5%. A tecnologia ainda permite que a frenagem regenerativa gere energia el\u00e9trica para ser armazenada em supercapacitores de dupla camada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Internamente, os referidos modelos possuem diversos itens para o conforto dos passageiros, como o piso baixo (facilidade nos embarques e desembarques), portas USB para a recarga de aparelhos eletr\u00f4nicos, monitores de TV e sistema de ar-condicionado.
