A marca det\u00e9m, neste momento, 32,4% de <em>market share,<\/em> contra 17,9% entre janeiro e junho do ano passado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No contexto do setor de \u00f4nibus, a companhia oferece a solu\u00e7\u00e3o de turbocompressor Turbo Technologies, o Holset Dual Stage (tecnologia de duplo est\u00e1gio), desenvolvida 100% pelo time de engenharia brasileiro para aplica\u00e7\u00f5es de \u00f4nibus urbanos, capaz ainda de suportar altas altitudes acima de 2 mil metros. Essa tecnologia, dispon\u00edvel atualmente na vers\u00e3o ISF 3.8, pode ainda ser empregada nas outras motoriza\u00e7\u00f5es da Cummins para o segmento, com a integra\u00e7\u00e3o entre o processo de calibra\u00e7\u00e3o do motor, mais especificamente na estrat\u00e9gia de inje\u00e7\u00e3o de combust\u00edvel na c\u00e2mara de combust\u00e3o, reduzindo o desgaste de pe\u00e7as e, consequentemente, contribuindo com a manuten\u00e7\u00e3o do ve\u00edculo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fernando Santos, supervisor de Engenharia de Aplica\u00e7\u00f5es da Cummins Brasil, comentou que a perfeita adequa\u00e7\u00e3o dos produtos para este segmento requer um desenvolvimento sob medida e dedicado para a aplica\u00e7\u00e3o, considerando principalmente o ciclo de opera\u00e7\u00e3o destes ve\u00edculos no caso do transporte urbano, de embarque e de desembarque. \u201cAs aplica\u00e7\u00f5es de \u00f4nibus urbano s\u00e3o mais severas que o caminh\u00e3o, por exemplo. E, por isso, buscamos melhor resposta do motor no que se refere a torques elevados em rota\u00e7\u00f5es mais baixas, ou seja, em carga plena ele atinge as rota\u00e7\u00f5es mais altas com mais agilidade, eliminando a varia\u00e7\u00e3o que tende a provocar maior desgaste de pe\u00e7as rotativas, al\u00e9m de reduzir o aumento da fadiga nos componentes internos do motor, com mais controle da oscila\u00e7\u00e3o de press\u00e3o\u201d, explicou ele.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>O portf\u00f3lio da Cummins para o segmento de \u00f4nibus inclui sete modelos de propulsores eletr\u00f4nicos Euro V (ISF 2.8, ISF 3.8, ISB 4.5, ISB 5.9, ISB 6.7, ISL 8.3 e ISL, de 9 litros).
