Este sistema reduz o consumo de combust\u00edvel em at\u00e9 25% em compara\u00e7\u00e3o com um \u00f4nibus a diesel convencional, proporcionando ainda uma opera\u00e7\u00e3o mais silenciosa, com redu\u00e7\u00e3o de emiss\u00f5es de CO2. Al\u00e9m disso, a S\u00e9rie H 40 EP est\u00e1 equipada com freios regenerativos, sistema que converte a energia cin\u00e9tica produzida pela a\u00e7\u00e3o das desacelera\u00e7\u00f5es e frenagens do ve\u00edculo em energia el\u00e9trica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rohan Barua, vice-presidente de Vendas para a Am\u00e9rica do Norte, Canal Global e Mercado de Reposi\u00e7\u00e3o da Allison Transmission, comentou que as solu\u00e7\u00f5es h\u00edbridas el\u00e9tricas da Allison para os \u00f4nibus de transporte urbano comprovam os benef\u00edcios operacionais para munic\u00edpios e frotas em todo o mundo, ao mesmo tempo que vem oferecendo desempenho, confiabilidade e durabilidade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A Allison informou que j\u00e1 entregou mais de nove mil sistemas de propuls\u00e3o h\u00edbridas el\u00e9tricas, atendendo a 230 cidades em 43 estados.
