Recentemente, 20 novos \u00f4nibus 100% el\u00e9tricos (a baterias), com carro\u00e7aria Torino da Marcopolo e chassi da BYD, foram fornecidos para a cidade, que passa a ser o munic\u00edpio brasileiro com a maior frota de \u00f4nibus com esse tipo de tra\u00e7\u00e3o em circula\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Segundo a encarro\u00e7adora ga\u00facha, os ve\u00edculos oferecem maior conforto, estabilidade e seguran\u00e7a para os passageiros, al\u00e9m de serem silenciosos, mais econ\u00f4micos, com melhor desempenho e menor custo de manuten\u00e7\u00e3o, apresentando ainda benef\u00edcios que se refletem em uma maior qualidade de vida para a popula\u00e7\u00e3o. \u201cA Marcopolo tem como sua estrat\u00e9gia colaborar com a descarboniza\u00e7\u00e3o e desenvolver solu\u00e7\u00f5es sustent\u00e1veis de transporte.
