Os ve\u00edculos ser\u00e3o do modelo LFSe+, da fabricante Nova Bus, com 12 metros de comprimento. Eles ser\u00e3o entregues em tr\u00eas anos, a partir de 2025. A tecnologia de tra\u00e7\u00e3o ter\u00e1 o sistema modular de propuls\u00e3o el\u00e9trica GEN 3 da BAE Systems. A operadora Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 de Transport de Montr\u00e9al (STM), em colabora\u00e7\u00e3o com a Association du transport urbain du Quebec (ATUQ*), s\u00e3o as respons\u00e1veis pela aquisi\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n<p>Segundo informa\u00e7\u00f5es, o contrato \u00e9 o pedido \u00fanico mais significativo de \u00f4nibus el\u00e9tricos na hist\u00f3ria da Am\u00e9rica do Norte, tendo como pedido inicial de 339 unidades com o valor de 583 milh\u00f5es de d\u00f3lares canadenses e a op\u00e7\u00e3o de mais 890 \u00f4nibus, representando outros 1,531 bilh\u00e3o de d\u00f3lares canadenses. No total, o fornecimento das 1.229 unidades alcan\u00e7ar\u00e1 o valor de 2,114 bilh\u00f5es de d\u00f3lares canadenses.<\/p>\n<p>O modelo LFSe+ vem com bateria de longo alcance e representa uma solu\u00e7\u00e3o de mobilidade inteligente que combina a plataforma Nova Bus LFS, uma estrutura dur\u00e1vel e comprovada que facilita o acesso para pessoas com mobilidade reduzida, com as mais recentes inova\u00e7\u00f5es em eletromobilidade e seguran\u00e7a.<\/p>\n<p>Segundo a montadora dos \u00f4nibus, uma caracter\u00edstica fundamental do mais recente sistema de acionamento el\u00e9trico GEN3 \u00e9 a modularidade do sistema de controle do inversor &#8211; referido pela BAE Systems como seu Sistema Modular de Controle de Pot\u00eancia (MPCS), cuja principal fun\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 controlar o motor prim\u00e1rio de tra\u00e7\u00e3o &#8211; e a capacidade para adicionar m\u00f3dulos para a capacidade adicional de armazenamento de bateria. Tal tecnologia permite que tenham um otimizado controle da capacidade da bateria com relativa facilidade, pois possui combinadores de bateria adicionais que permitem a adi\u00e7\u00e3o de baterias caso seja necess\u00e1rio.<\/p>\n<p>O pacote de baterias pode conter quatro ou seis unidades, com pot\u00eancia de 98kWh, totalizando 392kWh ou 588kWh, dependendo da aplica\u00e7\u00e3o.
