No final da d\u00e9cada de 1990, foi apresentado seu primeiro prot\u00f3tipo com essa tecnologia, mostrando que a fabricante j\u00e1 estava antenada com o conceito para ser aplicado nos sistemas de transporte coletivo.<\/p>\n<p>Hoje, depois de muitos anos ap\u00f3s seu primeiro ve\u00edculo, a marca apresenta a nova vers\u00e3o do eCitaro, agora equipado com a tecnologia, tendo autonomia de 350 quil\u00f4metros. Sua configura\u00e7\u00e3o articulada \u00e9 capaz de transportar 128 passageiros e representada uma oportunidade real ideal para que operadores do transporte urbano possam ter uma frota el\u00e9trica sem ter que realizar a recarga el\u00e9trica. O foco estava na nova c\u00e9lula a combust\u00edvel e no sistema de armazenamento de hidrog\u00eanio. Nesse quesito, os tanques de hidrog\u00eanio foram testados quanto \u00e0 resist\u00eancia ao fogo, ao impacto e \u00e0 temperatura de acordo com a nova norma UN ECE R 134.<\/p>\n<p>Ainda, segundo a montadora, tanto as baterias de l\u00edtio da nova gera\u00e7\u00e3o NMC 3, quanto a c\u00e9lula a combust\u00edvel, exigem temperaturas ideais para uma opera\u00e7\u00e3o eficiente, que \u00e9 de 25 graus Celsius e de 63 graus Celsius, respectivamente, de modo que o calor residual tamb\u00e9m pode ser usado de forma eficiente para aquecer o interior do ve\u00edculo.<\/p>\n<p>O mencionado modelo pode ser equipado com v\u00e1rios sistemas de seguran\u00e7a, como o freio eletropneum\u00e1tico (EBS), o controle antiderrapante (ASR) de s\u00e9rie, o <em>Sideguard Assist<\/em> e o <em>Preventive Brake Assist<\/em> (PBA). O recurso <em>Sideguard Assist<\/em> apoia o motorista ao virar e mudar de faixa, detectando pedestres ou ciclistas na \u00e1rea de dif\u00edcil visualiza\u00e7\u00e3o ao lado do \u00f4nibus,
